Style Tips
As mentioned in its description, the French jacket can be made in the classic bouclé used by the great Coco Chanel. Fashionable colours now are pink, bright electric blue, emerald green. Once you pick your favorite, you could add trimming on the borders of various kind, from gathered tulle with pearls (very romantic with pink fabric) to sparkling Swarovski strass or stones (even big ones...), which would look fabulous tone-on-tone (same colour) for emerald and blue fabrics, but could be fine also black or classic strass.
Same strass/stones would be great also on denim fabric, and this would definitely be the youngest version of the jacket...even better if it's a stone washed and very used denim, the contrast with the elegant strass and vintage sporty fabric would give a new feel to this ever classic pattern.
As for the sewing finishing, it can be made the classic way or with row cut, which is now returning and it adds more trendy elements...
Fantasy flowers are back, and in this case we could add them inside the jacket with a multi-coloured lining which would attract as much as the outside part of the jacket.
