This outfit has a renaissance flair. The flared skirt has a hint of a train. The jacket is closed with strings and has a heart-shaped neckline and rounded basque. The prominent sleeves are flared and descend into a point. Suggested fabric: linen or Duchess satin overlaid with embroidered tulle with chiffon sleeves; or for a more winter version, velvet or damask.
